Katherine Jones

Katherine Jones’ artistic practice is underpinned by drawing and painting and concluded in multi-layered painterly prints which bring together disparate narratives in hyper-real or folkloric spaces. Her work revolves around perceptions of safety and danger, focusing on ordinary objects, spaces, buildings and archetypal motifs such as a flower, sun or tree as a framework to begin to question these themes. She lives and works in London and was elected as a Royal Academician in March 2022. 

Atelier JI has collaborated with Jones on a number of editions across mediums, from silkscreen to monoprint etchings and monotypes.
