Conor Harrington
Conor Harrington at Atelier JI with ‘Grab Your Guise’, 2016, Published by Hungryboy Books
Conor Harrington (b. 1980, Cork, Ireland) is an Irish street artist known for his expressionistic oil paintings and murals. Themes of masculinity, military history, and urban culture are prevalent in Harrington’s work. “Distortion [of the figures] is important to me because, whether it’s the Romans or the British, no one can stay dominant,” he explained of his figures.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Harrington over the years to produce a great number of editions across multiple print mediums, including the production of hand-finished monoprints.

In the Studio
This film chronicles the making of Harrington’s ‘The Blind Exit’ edition, based on his mural in Lewisham of the same name. Inspired by the Brexit referendum, the work serves as a poignant warning to the dangers of being smothered by nostalgia for an imagined past.
